One Night in a Hundred Years

Short film. Dramatic fantasy. 2,5 minutes.

Once every hundred years, Cannes appears for a single night — like a ghost city. On the red carpet, directors, actors and critics from different eras gather. They are all already on the other side. The living have no place here.
Leo — a young filmmaker — stumbles in by accident. At the entrance he is warned: no one comes here twice. He enters anyway.
Inside he meets Iva — a director from 1968. They made films about the same thing. They say little. They watch the frozen sea.
At midnight everything disappears. Iva — mid-sentence.
At dawn Leo is alone on the steps of the closed Palais. The attendant shows him the list. His name — the last one. Written by hand that night.
There will be no second time.
