Waiting For KANAS

The water monster of Kanas Lake in Xinjiang, China, has been famous since I was very young. I made a special trip there to see it, but unfortunately I didn't. So I entrusted Jiang Xiaomo to wait in my place.

This film is the second installment in the Jiang Xiaomo series, a trilogy of music videos set in Xinjiang. The first was Altay, and the third will be Baihaba. Stay tuned.
